Live vs demo data, and signing in as a member
How the demo environment keeps practice data out of the books, and what impersonation does and doesn't do.

Live and demo environments
- Every record — aircraft, reservations, flights, invoices — is tagged live or demo, and screens only ever show one environment at a time.
- Switch environment from settings. A banner stays visible the whole time you are in demo so nobody mistakes it for real data.
- Demo is the right place to train staff, rehearse a billing run or show the portal off. Nothing there reaches member invoices, emails or the P&L.
Signing in as a member
- Use Sign in as from the member record to see the portal exactly as that person does.
- Agreement prompts and onboarding steps are skipped while impersonating, so you can't sign anything on their behalf.
- Leave impersonation from the banner to return to your own account.
