Flying
Logbook and currency
How flight time reaches your logbook, and what the currency panel tracks.
Where entries come from
- Closed dispatch sheets create entries automatically from Hobbs times and landings.
- Instructors add or correct dual entries when they sign off a lesson.
- Administrators can enter historical time when you join the club.
Currency tracking
The logbook summarises total, dual, solo, night, cross-country and instrument time, plus landings and endorsements. Currency items — flight review, medical, night and instrument currency — are derived from your logged time and document expiry dates.
