Terms of Service
These terms govern membership and use of A4Flight Academy services. This is a template and should be reviewed by your legal counsel before publication.
1. Membership
Membership is application-only and subject to approval by A4Flight Academy. Approved members must remain in good standing, including current dues, applicable fees, and a satisfactory safety record, to maintain scheduling and aircraft access.
2. Aircraft use and scheduling
Aircraft are scheduled through the member portal and billed at the published wet hourly rate. Minimum reservation times and cancellation policies are posted in the portal and may be updated by the club from time to time.
3. Instruction
Flight instruction is delivered by A4Flight-approved independent contractor CFIs. The club handles billing for instruction on a single invoice; members do not pay CFIs directly for club-arranged instruction.
4. Payments
Monthly dues, initiation fees, hourly flight charges, and other fees are billed according to the published rates. Members may authorize automatic payment methods through the portal. Failure to pay may result in suspension of flying privileges.
5. Safety and compliance
Members must hold appropriate certificates, ratings, and medicals for the aircraft they operate, comply with all applicable FAA regulations, and complete any required club checkouts or currency reviews. The club may ground any member or aircraft for safety reasons.
6. Limitation of liability
A4Flight Academy provides aircraft management, scheduling, and billing services. Members are responsible for the safe operation of aircraft. The club's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate membership in accordance with the club's bylaws. Upon termination, outstanding balances remain due and access to the portal and aircraft is revoked.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the club's services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
