Getting started
How to get started.
1 — Apply and get verified
Membership application plus an FAA Airmen Registry check. Your certificates and ratings carry over exactly as they are.
2 — Club checkout
A checkout with an A4-approved CFI covering aircraft systems, CAPS, avionics flow and local procedures. For experienced pilots this is tailored to proficiency and required approvals.
3 — Fly on your own schedule
Book online, dispatch from your phone, fly, check in with a post-flight inspection. One invoice at the end of the month.

A4Flight Academy flies from Sheltair at Denton Enterprise Airport — the field's full-service FBO. Members and visiting pilots check in through the Sheltair lobby, and our aircraft sit on that ramp.
