The Club
The Club is for certificated pilots who want to book and fly our aircraft themselves. A one-time buy-in plus monthly dues cover fleet access, scheduling, insurance, maintenance management and the member portal; flight time is billed separately at the published member wet rate. Learning to fly is a different product — flight training needs no membership and no dues.
Members only
Club access is by membership, not by the hour.
Every pilot who books our aircraft on their own is a vetted club member with a completed application, FAA record verification and a checkout with an approved CFI. That is what keeps the fleet clean, the maintenance current and the insurance rates sane. Students training with an A4-approved CFI fly the same aircraft without joining — instruction is a separate product.

Club buy-in — $500 once
A one-time buy-in that includes your first checkout hour with an approved CFI. Paid once when your application is approved — never again.
Dues — $100/mo
Every club aircraft, including both IFR-equipped Cirrus SR20-G2s and the Jabiru light sport. Multi-type checkouts, IFR currency and instrument training access, weekend and cross-country blocks, and the full member portal.
Annual prepay — $1,000/yr
Prepay twelve months of dues and pay for ten — $83.33/mo effective. One invoice a year, no monthly card charges.

A first-class FBO
We operate out of Sheltair at Denton Enterprise (KDTO) — the field's only full-service FBO. Crew lounge, pilot briefing area, conference space, restrooms and coffee, clean ramp, courteous line service, and full-service fuel right where the aircraft live.
The A4 member portal
Book aircraft, run dispatch and post-flight check-in, log flights, upload and digitize your logbook, track currency and Part 61 experience, read squawks and maintenance status, view weather, and see every invoice — all online, on any device.
Modern, well-maintained aircraft
Glass-panel avionics, ADS-B In/Out, IFR-capable Cirrus airframes, CAPS, and centrally managed inspections. No tired rental-line airplanes and no surprise grounded fleet on a Saturday morning.
Insurance and maintenance handled
Club-carried hull and liability coverage, tracked 100-hour and annual inspections, and grounding decisions made by the club — not by the last member who noticed something.
One invoice, everything included
Wet hourly rates cover fuel and oil. Aircraft time, instruction and dues all arrive on a single club invoice, with optional autopay and account credits. You never settle up separately with your CFI.
Instruction and training on the field
Approved CFIs for checkouts, flight reviews, IPCs and full Part 61 training with digital worksheets and stage checks tracked in the portal. Members can self-enroll in any course.
A real club, not a queue
A small, known member group, a shared standard for how the airplanes are treated, member events and mentoring, and direct access to club leadership when something needs a decision.
Onboarding
Four steps from inquiry to first flight.
1. Application
Tell us your certificate level, hours and what you intend to fly. We review every application individually.
2. Verification
We verify your certificate and medical against FAA airman records, and collect a government ID.
3. Checkout
A club checkout with an approved CFI in each aircraft type you want access to.
4. Scheduling access
Once approved you book directly, at the same published rate you see on this site.
What the club runs
A club, not a rental counter.
Members share a maintained, insured, consistently equipped fleet. The club runs the aircraft; you run the flying.
Maintenance
Scheduled inspections, squawk tracking and grounding decisions are managed centrally, not left to members.
Insurance
Hull and liability coverage is carried on the fleet. Renter's non-owned coverage is recommended on top.
Fuel
Fuel is included in the hourly rate, so a long cross-country does not become a separate reconciliation.
Billing
One invoice. The club handles all of it.
A4 handles all billing, including instruction. Aircraft time at the published wet rate, instruction and membership dues arrive on a single club invoice — you never settle up separately with your CFI, and instructors never chase students for payment. The club pays approved CFIs directly.

Two ways to fly

Learning to fly does not require club membership, and club members are not enrolled in a course. Some pilots do both — most do one.
