A4Flight Academy is a members-only flying club and Part 61 flight school at the Sheltair FBO at Denton Enterprise Airport (KDTO), founded by long-time tenured EO member Charlie Alsmiller. EO Fort Worth members who join this year pay no initiation and no dues for twelve months — only the hours they fly.
Normally $500.
Normally $100/month.
Sheltair FBO, Denton.
The EO Fort Worth offer
Verified EO Fort Worth members who join A4Flight this year skip the buy-in and the dues for a full twelve months. Everything else works exactly as it does for every other member.
The $500 club buy-in is waived for verified EO Fort Worth members who join this year.
Monthly dues of $100 are waived for your first full year of membership.
Wet hourly rates include fuel, insurance and maintenance. One club invoice covers aircraft and instruction.
EO Fort Worth · getting there
From downtown Fort Worth it is about 40 minutes up I-35W to KDTO, and closer still from Alliance, Keller and Southlake — a full-service FBO with a staffed ramp instead of a self-serve pump and a keypad.

Why we're doing this
Charlie Alsmiller has been an EO member for years. A4Flight came out of the same conversations EO is built on — forum, accountability, and building the thing you wished existed.
Charlie Alsmiller — a long-time, tenured EO member — started A4Flight to make personal aviation approachable, with published rates, a known fleet and an online member experience.
Modern glass panels, online scheduling, and dispatch from Sheltair FBO at Denton Enterprise Airport (KDTO) — a towered field with two runways and no airline traffic.
Published rates, no fuel surcharges, no surprise club assessments. Every number you see here is the number we invoice.
The Cirrus experience
This is the part that separates A4Flight from a rental counter. The SR20 flies like a modern machine, looks the part on the ramp, and carries a whole-airframe parachute.
The Cirrus Airframe Parachute System recovers the entire aircraft, not the pilot. Your instructor reviews CAPS procedures, limitations and decision-making. No aircraft is risk-free.
Avidyne Entegra primary flight and multifunction displays, a DFC 100 digital autopilot, IFR-capable avionics and datalink weather. Side-yoke handling and a four-seat cabin.
Denton to Austin, Hot Springs or Santa Fe in an afternoon with bags and a client or family in the back — at a published wet rate, with no fuel surcharge math on landing.
