Pilot training · KDTO

# Pilot training in Dallas–Fort Worth, start to certificate.

A4Flight trains pilots from Denton Enterprise Airport (KDTO), on the north side of the Metroplex. You can start with no experience and finish with a certificate in your wallet: sport pilot in a light sport Jabiru, private pilot in the Jabiru or the Cirrus SR20-G2, then keep flying the same airplanes as a renter or club member. Part 61, billed for what you actually flew.

The path

## Four stages, and you can stop at any of them.

### First flight

An instructor-led discovery flight lets you explore flying. Your instructor records applicable training and helps review the next steps; individual eligibility and certificate requirements apply.

### Sport pilot

Sport-pilot privileges and aircraft eligibility depend on current FAA rules, endorsements and personal eligibility. Review FAA MOSAIC guidance with an instructor, who will confirm which flights and training requirements the aircraft can support.

### Private pilot

Private privileges and required experience are broader than sport. The Part 61 minimum is 40 hours; personal completion hours depend on progress and requirements. No completion average is claimed.

### Keep going

Instrument and cross-country work in the Cirrus SR20-G2, with glass panel, autopilot and an airframe parachute.

How training runs

## Part 61, on your calendar.

Flight training and a flying club for Fort Worth pilots at Denton (KDTO). Book a $200 Cirrus SR20 discovery flight online; training starts with a $1,000 credited deposit, no dues.

### Choose a sustainable frequency

Discuss lesson frequency with the team. Required practice, individual progress, weather, aircraft and instructor availability affect completion and cost.

### One instruction rate

Instruction is billed at a single club rate whether it happens in the airplane or on the ground. We handle the billing; you never pay an instructor separately.

### Your progress is visible

The member portal logs every flight and shows which Part 61 experience requirements are still open, so you always know what is left.

Where you train

## Training at Denton Enterprise Airport.

### Denton Enterprise (KDTO)

Denton Enterprise Airport is a towered general aviation field. Plan flight and appointment time with your instructor; weather, traffic, aircraft and instructor availability affect the day.

### Sheltair FBO

We operate from the only full-service FBO on the field: crew lounge, briefing space, clean ramp and fuel where the aircraft live.

### Reachable from the whole Metroplex

Meet at Sheltair FBO, 5035 Warbird Drive, Denton Enterprise Airport (KDTO). Plan travel around your starting location, traffic and appointment time.

Billing

## One invoice. The club handles all of it.

A4 handles all billing, including instruction. Aircraft time at the published wet rate, instruction and membership dues arrive on a single club invoice — you never settle up separately with your CFI, and instructors never chase students for payment. The club pays approved CFIs directly.
