# Membership and onboarding

Club membership, current dues, one-invoice billing and the steps from application to first flight.

## The club and the training path

Club membership is for approved certificated pilots who want to schedule and fly independently after aircraft checkout. The Membership page introduces the A4Flight community through real club photos, shows our private office at Sheltair, and brings membership rates, the live fleet, billing and insurance information together.

| Item | Current terms |
| --- | --- |
| One-time entry | $500, including the first checkout hour; further checkout as needed. |
| Monthly dues | $100 per month. |
| Annual dues | $1,000 prepaid for the year. |
| Aircraft time | Published wet rates include fuel. Instruction and dues are separate. |
| Instruction billing | A4Flight invoices aircraft time, instruction and dues together, and pays your approved CFI directly. |

Training is a separate product. Students do not need club membership, a club initiation fee or club dues. Choose the Training track on the application for instruction; choose Club for independent member flying. Approval, checkout and actual aircraft availability apply.

## The onboarding sequence

1. 1 Submit an application at /apply. Choose Club for independent flying and provide your certificate and experience details.
2. 2 A club administrator reviews the application in the portal and approves or requests more information.
3. 3 You receive a portal invitation, set a password, and sign in at /auth.
4. 4 Accept the club agreements presented on first sign-in — the portal stays gated until they are signed.
5. 5 Upload your pilot certificate, medical, photo ID and (for renters) renter's insurance in Documents.
6. 6 Complete a checkout flight with an A4-approved CFI in each aircraft you intend to fly.
7. 7 Book your first solo club flight from the Schedule screen.

## Keeping your file current

The portal tracks expiry dates on your medical, flight review, and insurance. You will receive notifications before anything lapses, and dispatch is blocked when a required item is expired.
