# Flight Academy syllabus

The Part 61 ground and flight syllabus, stages, and how progress is measured.

## Structure

The Flight Academy is a digital workbook built from the A4 training manuals (A4-00 through A4-06, Rev 1.2). Each course is a sequence of ground and flight lessons grouped into stages, with a stage check before you advance.

- Ground lessons (T-series) carry reading, discussion items and knowledge checks.
- Flight lessons (F-series) carry preflight briefing, in-flight manoeuvre and postflight debrief checklists.
- Progress is the share of lessons signed off by an instructor — not the share you have opened.

The Flight Academy catalogue: every published Part 61 course with its stage and lesson count. Courses you are enrolled in show your completion progress; the rest can be enrolled in from the same card.

## Working through a lesson

1. 1 Open the lesson from your course page before the flight.
2. 2 Read the objectives and safety callout, then write your preparation notes and tick the preflight items you have studied.
3. 3 Save your preparation — your instructor sees it before the brief.
4. 4 Fly the lesson; your CFI completes the in-flight and debrief sections, records flight data, assigns a grade and signs off.

Curriculum detail for one course: stages in order, the ground and flight lessons inside each, and the stage check that must be passed before the next stage opens.
